Dear Mr. Leseth,
This letter will confirm our telephone conversation. It was a pleasure speaking with you.
As we discussed, the Zoning Ordinance permits only certain messages on signs; .'
business telephone numbers are not among the permitted messages (Section 21.41.050).
Your Sign Permit is issuable immediately if you remove the telephone number from the
copy. If you wish the telephone number to remain, approval of a variance is necessary
before the permit can be issued. To begin the variance process, please obtain a
variance application from the Community Development counter at 2075 Las Palmas
Drive. When you have completed the application, please submit it with the required
processing fee of $530.00. Processing a variance application can take about 6 months.
