Grant 7173 Obelisco Circle Carlsbad, CA 92009-6522 Sign - 3016 Carlsbad Blvd. (Cessy's Taco Shop) Dear Mr. Grant, According to our records, the property located at 3016 Carlsbad Boulevard, Cessy's Taco Shop, was cited on November 5, 1991, as violating Carlsbad Municipal Code section 21.41.010 and 21.10.070. These two sections pertain to (1) maintaining a roof mounted sign without approval or permits, and (2) maintaining a roof mounted sign in violation of the Municipal Code. Notification of the code violation initiated a thirty (30) day abatement period for the sign. On November 26, 1991, the City received your request for a one year extension on the amortization of the non-conforming sign, made on behalf of your tenant. City staff has reviewed your request, and based upon the circumstances outlined, the City will permit a one year extension on the amortization, beginning January 1, 1992. Please be advised that Mrs. Martinez, as your tenant, will be required to obtain all required sign approvals and permits, as well as complete modification of the existing sign or installation of a new conforming sign, prior to January 1, 1993. If there is a failure to comply within the one year period, the City has the authority to begin administrative abatement and/or initiate legal action.
