SUBJECT PS 91-83 - STEPH'S
Dear Sirs:
Staff has reviewed your application for a sign permit and the following issues are noted:
1. The sign program for Carlsbad Plaza requires that the Type A sign be interior
illuminated, plexiglass faced, and individual channeled letters. The proposed box
sign does not conform to the sign program.
2. The sign cannot exceed 18 inches in height, nor 37.5 square feet.
3. The individual letters or characters shall be used to designate the business name
and/or logo only. Therefore, the portion of sign listing the foods sold (Pasta,
salads, subs, etc.) cannot be permitted.
In order to grant this sign permit, the above issues must be resolved and all proposed
signs must conform with the Carlsbad Plaza Sign Program. Please resubmit 3 copies
indicating the required changes to my attention at the planning department front counter.
