Dear I-PAC Manufacturing Inc. Representative:
It has come to my attention that your building, located at 1958 Kellogg Avenue, contains an
illegal sign. The copy of the subject sign is as follows: Photomatrix. According to the City’s
sign ordinance, a sign permit application, signed by all owners of real property upon which the
sign is to be located, shall be submitted and receive City approval prior to the erection of the
sign. A search of City records indicates that no such application was received, processed or
approved for the subject sign. With regard to the subject sign, I have determined that had an
application been submitted to the City, the permit request would have been denied because the
subject sign does not conform to the sign requirements of the Specific Plan that regulates such
matters for your property.
Pursuant to the sign ordinance ($21.41.010) and based on the above, the subject sign constitutes
a public nuisance. As such, you have 30 days to remove the sign. If after 30 days from the date
of this notice, the sign has not been removed, this matter will be referred to the City’s code
enforcement division to initiate remedial actions.
