Re: Planning Department Sign Permits
Gentlemen:
We submit a further explanation of what we wish to do in relation to
our application for a sign permit.
The West side of our recreation hall, located in the 2600 block of
Ocean Street, fronts on the ocean. There is a large white painted
area between the roof and the top of the windows (see photo). We
wish to paint a sign 36" high and approximately 66' in length, which
says "ARMY AND NAVY ACADEMY" in black letters.
We understand that the Academy serves as a sort of landmark for area
boaters, and feel that definite identification of the Academy would
be good public relations.
