Dear Mr. Hoffman:
This letter is in regards to our telephone conversation on October 9, 7990. The Planning
Department does not need to issue.a sign permit for the replacement of your existing pole sign
located at the edge of El Camino Real. If the replaced sign were to be of a different type (new
pole, monument, etc. , .) or of greater or lesser square footage, then you would need to apply for
a new sign permit.
