RE: ILLEGAL SIGN
Dear Mr. Lambert:
This is to confirm your representation, through Jerry Holt, of Aurora Signs, that Artecon has decided to follow through with an application to the Carlsbad Planning Department for a specific sign program to permit a wall mounted sign.
This office will continue to administratively delay criminal prosecution of Artecon for a violation of Carlsbad Municipal Code section 18.20.005, based on Mr. Holt's representation on your behalf that he has a check in hand and will file the application on
or before Wednesday, December 28, 1994 and proceed expeditiously
thereafter to obtain City approval and bring the existing sign into
conformance with City requirements. If application is not timely
made, or you cease diligent pursuit of City approval and the replacement of the existing sign with a lawful sign, the City will have to initiate enforcement proceedings against you.
Thank you very much for your renewed statement of cooperation. I
am hopeful that this time you will follow through and obtain City
approval and bring your property into compliance.
