SUBJECT PS 94-102 - ROOSEVELT CENTER TENANT DIRECTORY SIGN
Thank you for applying for a Sign Permit with the City of Carlsbad. The Planning
Department has reviewed your application, number PS 94-102, and found that additional
information is needed to process the permit request.
The owner's name, address, phone number, and signature must be on the application form
prior to permit issuance. This information can be provided on the enclosed copy of your
application. Also, the letter from K. Bentley O'Brien Interiors, dated March 8, 1994 and regarding the existing signage calculations for Roosevelt Center mentions a site plan showing
the individual signage locations and size. This site plan is critical to verify existing signage
and street frontage.
There are also some questions regarding the proposed location and orientation of the signs.
The submitted site plan and sign rendering indicate that the sign is single-faced, will the sign
type face northward or southward? The site plan shows the proposed sign location five feet
from the property line, will this necessitate removal of the existing trees?
Once a completed application form and the above referenced site plan and clarifications are
