Dear Mr. Lynch,
Tait & Associates is resubmitting for approval on the Texaco sign permit. After a site visit was made, the drawings were revised to best depict the existing conditions. The monument sign is located in the position shown on the Sign Keyed Plan and has not been moved.
The proposed signage has been reduced significantly in square footage. An addition of 27 sq.ft. is requested in this resubmittal and is primarily the canopy signs. The request for this signage is consistent with other recent upgrades. Included are photos of the station on Carlsbad Village Drive off of 1-5. This is a recent job permitted and an example of the desired canopy signage.
In consideration of your comments, the proposed site signage will remain as is. The monument sign will not be upgraded.
