RE: SIGN PERMIT APPLICATION 96-15
Dear Ms. KirkendoU:
This letter is to notify you of the status of the Sign Permit Application 96-15 for Vitamart
located at 539 Carlsbad Village Drive, Suite 104. Your application for a wall sign, as attached,
has been approved. However, the City is unable to approve the application for a sidewalk/free
standing sign.
As stated in the City's Village Redevelopment Master Plan and Design Manual, An individual
business located within a business arcade or courtyard area shall not be permitted a
sidewaik/freestanding sign. Such businesses would be allowed to participate with other tenants
located within the same arcade or courtyard area to provide one (1) sidewalk sign which lists
all participating tenants.
