NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will
hold a public hearing at the Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad,
California, at 6:OO p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 1997, to consider a request for an
appeal of the Planning Director’s decision to deny a sign program a’mendment and sign
permit for a landscaped hedge sign on property generally located west of Golden Star
Lane, between Savannah Lane and Batiquitos Drive in Local Facilities Management
Zone 19 and more particularly described as:
Portions of Lots 3 and 4 of Carlsbad Tract No CT 90-34, according to
Map No. 13202, filed in the Office of the County Recorder on March 24,
1995, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the
public hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after October 30,
1997. If you have any questions, please call Michael Grim in the Planning Department
at (760) 438-1 161, extension 4499.
If you challenge the Sign Permit in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues
you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written
correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior to the public hearing.
