SUBJECT: PS 97-05 - LOTUS THAI BISTRO
Dear James:
The Planning Department has completed a review of your application for signage at
3050 Pi0 Pic0 Drive. The Planning Department is unable to approve your sign permit
for the following reasons:
1. There is too much existing signage (with respect to square footage) to
accommodate additional signage. Some of the existing signage
advertises a business that no longer occupies the building. This signage
should be removed immediately. Upon removal of that signage, your sign
permit can be approved.
2. Since there are two occupants in the one building, signage must be
divided among both occupants. Without an indication of the type and size
of signage requested by the Pizzeria, staff cannot approve the use of any
square footage of signage on the building. Please confirm what signage
the Pizzeria will require. This requirement is best confirmed with the
submittal of a sign permit for the Pizzeria, showing the location and size of
all proposed signage.
