SUBJECT: PS 97-65, CHARLES SCHWAB
Dear Applicant:
Thank you for applying for a sign permit with the City of Carlsbad. After careful review,
your application for additional signage for the building located at 2390 Faraday Avenue
has been denied. Our files indicate that Sign Permit No. 93-24, approved July 28,
1993, incorpocated the maximum amount of signage allowed for the building.
Refer to SP 180 (Carlsbad Research Center) general requirements regarding signs
which allows for only one single or double-face permanent sign per street frontage .
Regarding the existing monument signs, the planning department does not require a
permit for maintenance or repair work, however, please contact the building department
and verify their permit requirements.
