SUBJECT: SIGN PERMIT
Dear Mr. Reed:
The Planning Department is currently reviewing Sign Permits along the Interstate 5
Freeway and it has come to our attention that there is no approved permit for your
existing sign. The Carlsbad Municipal Code (Chapter 21.41) prohibits any person,
firm, or corporation to erect or construct any sign within the City without an
approved sign permit.
We are requesting that you immediately apply for a sign permit and meet the
requirements of the existing Sign Program for Carlsbad Commercial Center. A copy
of the Sign Program is available at the Planning Department.
If a sign permit is not submitted to the City within a reasonable time, this matter
will be directed to the Code Enforcement Department. Thank you for your
cooperation and understanding.
