SUBJECT: SIGN PERMIT 97-75 - AZRON
Dear Mr. Russell:
This letter is in regards to your application for a sign permit at property located at 5950
La Place Court. in the City of Carlsbad. Before I can review the application, there is
some additional information needed. Please provide information to the effect that this
business does or does not have it's own entrance to the building. The Specific Plan
states that "In multi-tenant industrial or office buildings, each individual business may
have a wall sign over the entrance to identify the tenant. Said sign will be limited to
letters six inches high. Said signs will be oriented toward the parking or pedestrian area
for that building and shall not exceed a maximum area of five square feet." This will
preclude signs that are facing El Camino Real and if the tenant does not has it's own
entrance, there may not be signage on the outside of the building.
Please provide proof of approval by the Carlsbad Research Center Association. You
