SUBJECT: Poinsettia Shores Master Plan - Residential Sign Program
Dear Anne:
Enclosed for your review is the sign program for the residential portion of the Poinsettia Shores
Master Plan. The sign program only covers the Planning Areas on the east side of the railroad
right-of-way.
As presented in the sign program, the total signage area for the residential portion of the
master plan area would not exceed 179 square feet. This would allow for 273.2 square feet of
signage to be located within the non-residential portion of the master plan west of the railroad
right-of-way. All signage shown in the sign program is in compliance with the requirements of
the sign ordinance (Section 21.41) and the Poinsettia Shores Master Plan and provides the
detail necessary to allow for efficient review of future requested sign permits.
A request for a sign permit for the primary monument sign located near the comer of Avenida
Encinas and Windrose Circle will be submitted within the next couple of days. It would be
greatly appreciated if you could review this sign program as soon as possible so that a sign
permit for the primary monument sign could be issued. It is the goal of the developers within
the Poinsettia Shores Master Plan to have the completion of the primary monument sign
coincide with the opening of the first model homes.
