Dear Don:
We have received your fax dated February 9,1999 modifying the design of the Taylor Made
ground sign. The proposed modification reduces tbe size of the Taylor Made lop from 15.5
inches to 12 inches. Given this modification the sign fully conforms to the design guidelines of
the Carlsbad Research Center. Therefore fie design review committee approves your pians
provided they incorprate the provisions of your February 9, 1999 fm memo. As you are no
doubt awe, prior to construction you will need to obtain a sip pernit from the City of
Carlsbad.
