RE: PS 99-14 - 850 PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD - HOLIDAY INN
Dear Mr. McPherson:
This letter is regarding the sign program for the Holiday Ir&TGI Friday’s located at 850
Palomar Airport Road in the City of Carlsbad. As you will recall, a comprehensive sign program
was reviewed and approved by the City on August 9, 1999. The new signs for Holiday Inn and
TGI Friday’s were installed in two different phases. The first signs were completed and signed
off by the City on March 22,200O and the second set of signs was finaled on April 19,200O.
The sign program also called for the removal of the unused monument sign base located on the
southwesterly comer of the property. I passed by the site the other day and noticed that the base
is still there. It appears that the remodeling of the site is completed and there does not appear to
be any other construction. The removal of the sign base was a part of the overall sign program
and it is expected to be removed.
