Dear Don,
Thank you for your time and interest in finthering our discussions in regards to moving
our existing directional sign. Enclosed are the items requested pursuant to our most
recent discussion:
1) Review for sign permit filled out by Car Wash, Jim Lube and Island’s Restaurant.
2) Check for $30.00 for review.
3) Copy of existing sign plan for Car Wash and Ji@ Lube approved by the city on June
23,1995.
4) Copy of proposed “Relocated Sign” with new facing, verbiage and specs. There are
no changes to dimensions of sign. ’ 5) Two (2) copies of “Site Plan” for Islands parcel.
6) Two (2) copies of reduced “Site Plan” for Islands parcel.
Don, as you recall, all we are asking is to relocate the existing directional sign fiom it’s
current location to the planter on the fiont of the property. Power to the proposed sign
will come fiom the current sign location. Zigman Shields (Island’s contractor) will be
pulling the power in conjunction with their construction. The current signage has already
been approved and has been in place since July 1995. We believe with the size of the
Island’s building and the diminished view to the Car Wash and Ji@ Lube, this move is
essential for the two business’s to survive. e
