Dear Applicant:
I have enclosed a receipt showing payment of $30.00 for the processing of an
Outdoor Business Display Permit in conjunction with the above referenced
project. The appiication number for the project is RPOO-06.
In the next 30 days, City staff will review the application and notify you in writing
of any additional information needed to complete the application or issues of
concern. If you have any questions regarding the application, please contact my

Re: Approval of Outdoor Display Permit
Dear Lynne:
Thank you for submitting your application for an Outdoor Display Permit. Your application
has been approved. Attached is a copy of the approved permit for your records. Please
note, the approved permit allows an outdoor display as described in the attached permit and
depicted on the corresponding site plan.
The attached permit allows you to retain your outdoor display for; 1) as long as the Housing
and Redevelopment Commission allows outdoor displays to remain, 2) as long as the
outdoor display continues to meet the standards outlined within the attached Outdoor
Business Display - Location and Development Criteria, 3) as long as the outdoor display is
consistent with this permit approval, and 4) as long as the required insurance remains in
effect.
Thank you for your cooperation in acquiring the necessary permit. If you have any

Our records indicate that you were issued Permit #00-^6 for an Outdoor Display that is
located in the public right-of-way. A requirement of the permit is that the City of
Carlsbad and the Carlsbad Redevelopment Agency be listed as Additional Insured on
your insurance policy. The most recent certificate of insurance on file expires or expired
on 2/24/2001. If the certificate of insurance on file has not yet expired, please ask your
insurance provider to ensure that a new certificate is sent to us upon renewal. If there is
no certificate of insurance on file or if it has expired, please submit a current certificate of
insurance within ten davs (10). If a current certificate of insurance is not received by the
Carlsbad Redevelopment Agency, your permit may be revoked and/or the Outdoor
Display may be confiscated by Code Enforcement.

Our records indicate that you were issued Pennit #00-fl6 for a/an Outdoor Display that is
located in the public right-of-way. A requirement of the pennit is that the City of
Carlsbad and tiie Carlsbad Redevelopment Agency be listed as Additional Insured on
your insurance policy. The most recent certificate of insurance on file expired on
02/27/01. Please ask your insurance provider to ensure that a new certificate is sent to us
immediately and upon renewal annually. If proof of current insurance coverage has not
been received or if the items have not been removed from the public right-of-wav within
10 business davs of the date of this letter, the Outdoor Displav mav be sunmiarilv
removed without further notice from the Citv and disposed of as surplus propertv.
