NOTICE OF FiNAL ACTION
ADDITION OF OUTDOOR NURSERY

Date of Notice: August 8, 2000
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad has
made a final decision to APPROVE an Administrative Redevelopment Permit (RP 00-08) for the addition of
an outdoor landscape nursery on property located at 2763 State Street. The subject property is located
on the west side of State Street approximately 100 feet north of Christiansen Drive. Under the proposal,
the dirt area on the west side of the subject property will be converted to a 2,979 square foot outdoor
nursery. The nursery will be surrounded by a 6'-0" high chain link fence. Additional on-site parking will
be installed to accommodate the proposed use.
If you wish to appeal the decision of the Housing and Redevelopment Director on this matter to the
Design Review Board, you must file a written appeal with the Housing and Redevelopment Department
within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this decision/notice. The written appeal must be submitted
no later than 5:00pm on August 18, 2000. Appeal forms are available at the Housing and
Redevelopment Department located at 2965 Roosevelt Street, Suite B. If you have questions regarding

NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSO GIVEN that the Planning Department has determined that the project is exempt
from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per Section 15303 of the State
CEQA Guidelines and will not have an adverse significant impact on the environment. The City of Carisbad
Planning Department will file appropriate documentation for the "exemption".
