The property is located at the intersection of Carlsbad Blvd. and State Street. The assessor parcel number is 155-200-04-00. The proposed project is located within the Coastal Zone, but is not within the "appealable" area of the Coastal Zone. The applicant for the administrative redevelopment/coastal development permit is JM Consulting for Sprint PCS. The application for the subject permit was submitted on November 3, 2000. The proposed project includes the construction and operation of a telecommunications base station consisting of nine (9) 18-inch panel antennas stealth mounted on the Western Family Building at the far north end of State Street.
