As you are aware, that site has no available parking spaces. Therefore, the applicant will have to rely upon the public lot east of the site, and/or on-street parking. The private parking lot north, and adjacent to this site, is leased fi^om me by my tenant. Black Whale Lighting, and is for their exclusive use. There exists a chronic problem with unauthorized use of this lot by the tenants and their customers of the businesses between 592 and 574 Carlsbad Village Drive. It is my request that you make this situation known to this applicant so as to avoid any future problems. Since this a change in use permit request, will the in-lieu parking program be implemented for this business? It would seem to be an appropriate condition to this permit. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely yours. e4/ Nancy Bo^r, Truste NLB Properties
