Re: Approval of Sidewalk Sign Permit
Dear Ms. Mulloy:
Thank you for submitting your application for an Outdoor Display Permit. Having received all
required documents your application has been approved. Attached is a copy of the approved
Outdoor Display Permtt for your records.
The attached permtt allows you to retain the outdoor display for; 1) as long as the Housing and
Redevelopment Commission allows outdoor displays to remain, 2) as long as the outdoor
display continues to meet the standards outlined wtthin the Carlsbad Village Master Plan and
Design Manual, and 3) as long as the outdoor display is consistent wrth this permrt approval. It
is important to note that City staff will complete an annual review of the sidewalk sign
regulations to determine their continued applicability. A valid Certificate of Insurance is required
for as long as the outdoor display continues to be placed wrthin the public right-of-way.
