Date of Notice: August 8, 2006 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad has made a final decision to APPROVE an Administrative Redevelopment Permit (RP 06-07) to change an existing restaurant use to a restaurant with entertainment on private property at 640A Grand Avenue, which is located on north side of Grand Avenue between Roosevelt Street and Madison Street. The assessor parcel number is 203-301-05. The Housing and Redevelopment Director has determined that the proposed project is consistent with the Village Master Plan and Design Manual. Therefore, the Director intends to approve the subject permit. The applicant for the redevelopment permit is Brenda Giblin. The permit will allow Giblin's Irish Pub and Restaurant to have live entertainment limited to four entertainers with acoustical instruments at their current location. Dancing will not be permitted on the licensed premises at any time. If you wish to appeal the decision of the Housing and Redevelopment Director on this matter to the Design Review Board, you must file a written appeal with the Housing and Redevelopment Department within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this decision/notice. The written appeal must be submitted no later than 5:00pm on August 18. Appeal forms are available at the Housing and Redevelopment Department located at 2965 Roosevelt Street, Suite B. Date of Notice: July 26, 2006 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad intends to APPROVE an Administrative Redevelopment Permit (RP 06-07) to change an existing restaurant use to a restaurant with entertainment on private property at 640A Grand Avenue, which is located on north side of Grand Avenue between Roosevelt Street and Madison Street. The assessor parcel number is 203-301-05. The Housing and Redevelopment Director has determined that the proposed project meets all applicable development standards and is consistent with the Village Master Plan and Design Manual. Therefore, the Director intends to approve the subject permit. The applicant for the redevelopment permit is Brenda Giblin. The permit will allow Tom Giblin's Irish Pub and Restaurant to convert from a restaurant only use to a restaurant with entertainment use with certain operating conditions applied.
