We share this downtown area with several other business and residents alike and we are committed to a respectful and peaceful relationship with our neighbors. The talents and energies of most of you have contributed greatly to the success of Mas Fina Cantina. Please help facilitate the continued growth and progression of our restaurant. Your cooperation with keeping music levels reduced is vitally important in maintaining Mas Fina Cantina, as a live music venue. Management will be tenaciously monitoring the volume levels at all times. Should management find it necessary to tum the volume down, we anticipate your full and immediate cooperation. If you do not comply immediately and/or turn the volume back up later then you will be cut off and paid a pro-rated amount for your time. Thank you for your assistance in providing a fun and safe experience for our customers and neighbors. It is setup and run by Michael Styler each week. It is open to singer/songwriters, and musicians to perform various types of music. It is primarily acoustic, with the exception of every last Tuesday of the month, when a drum kit and amps are provided for an amplified open mic night. Wednesday: Mike Gardner performs a one man show each week. His music consists of mainly classic rock, blues, and country. His performance's are always acoustic and are generally described as cabaret type music. Thursday - Monday: None "^Live Entertainment provided in the licensed premises will not exceed four (4) entertainers performing with their instruments inside the licensed premises^ as depicted in the Mas Fina Cantina floor plan. Live entertainment will start at 8:00 pm and end promptly at 11:30 pm. Date of Notice: April 24, 2007 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad intends to APPROVE an Administrative Redevelopment Permit (RP 08-09) to change an existing restaurant use to a restaurant with entertainment on private property at 2780 State Street, which is located on the east side of State Street between Grand Avenue and Beech Avenue. The assessor's parcel number is 203-181-03. The Housing and Redevelopment Director has determined that the proposed project meets all applicable requirements and is consistent with the Village Master Plan and Design Manual. Therefore, the Director intends to approve the subject permit. The applicant for the Redevelopment Permit is Andy Davis. The permit will allow Mas Fina Cantina to convert from a restaurant only use to a restaurant with entertainment use with certain operating conditions applied. Those persons wishing to comment on the proposed project and intended action by the Housing and Redevelopment Director are cordially invited to submit written comments or contact the Housing and Redevelopment Department by 5:00pm on Tuesdav.
