As per our conversation last week I am sending you the revised drawing for the B of A monument for your approval. Please see
page #2 of the attached document.
I would appreciate it if you could either send me a new letter, or just re-sign the new drawing and send it back to me. We will start to
work on getting this changed out as soon as I hear back from you.

Re: Internally Illuminated Monument Sign
Dear Branch Manager:
Our office recently approved a sign permit for the Carisbad Village Bank of America.
Part of the approved sign permit was a monument sign which was not to be
internally illuminated. Staff has noticed that the monument sign is internally
illuminated, which is contrary to the approved sign permit. The Village
Redevelopment Area Sign Guidelines state, "All [monument] signs shall be exterior
illuminated by fixtures designed to complement the appearance of the sign." Please
take the necessary steps to ensure that the monument sign is not lit internally. The
sign may be illuminated with an exterior flood light. We appreciate your cooperation
in this matter.
As a courtesy to you, I am sending you this letter before this becomes a code
enforcement issue. If you have any questions regarding the information contained
