Based on the sign permtt (RP 08-50) that was approved in September, you have five (5) square feet of signage you may use before reaching your maximum signage area. Below are some options you may take to continue displaying the directional signs and ensure compliance with the Village Redevelopment Area Sign Guidelines. - Amend the permit for the approved wall sign and reduce the dimensions so the total sign area does not exceed the maximum allowable sign area for all signs on the building - Remove the two directional signs from the building. - Remove one of the directional signs and reduce the size of the remaining wall sign so it does not exceed five (5) square feet. These are by no means all the possibilities for signage for your business. Please contact the Housing and Redevelopment Department for additional options regarding your signage. Please submit the desired changes to the approved sign permit for Senor Grubby's within ten (10) days from the referenced date ofthis letter. If you have any questions regarding the information contained in this letter, please contact my office at (760) 434-2810 ext 5017. Based on the sign permit (RP 08-50) that was approved in September, you have five (5) square feet of signage you may use before reaching your maximum signage area. Please be aware that if you plan to continue displaying the two parking signs, you must submit for a new sign permit and meet the square footage criteria of five (5) square feet maximum for both signs together. Please either remove these signs or submit a new sign permit application within ten (10) days from the referenced date of this letter. I received two different site plans for the sidewalk tables/chairs, so I need to know which one to use. I also need some additional information on the dimensions of the tree grate In front of your business. The second item is regarding the banner sign being displayed In front of Senor Grubby's. Debbie (the Redevelopment Director) told you last Friday that you need to have your sign permit In and reviewed before you can display the banner. Since we already sent you a letter regarding this and the 10 day grace period has passed, please remove the banner Immediately. We would appreciate your cooperation In this matter. After we can review and approve your sign permit, you are permitted to have a banner for a max of 45 days or until your permanent signage is Installed, whichever period Is shorter. I would appreciate your attention on these two issues. Please give me a call to discuss at your soonest convenience. As for the barmer out front I talked to Debbie and was under the impression since we had talked to her of our plan conceming our sign and where developing/designing our sign we would be "ok" as long as we applied soon. Our sign company (Ford Signs) should have everything ready to submit by Tuesday. I appreciate your understanding in this matter as this banner is our ONLY form of identifying ourselves. I look forward to meeting you soon. The City of Carlsbad has been great! Temecula was CRAZY! Thanks again! Hope you had a relaxing weekend and I should see you Tuesday. €11 w^ji.
