HomeMy WebLinkAboutRP 09-08; Mediterranean Cafe; Redevelopment Permits (RP) (3)SITi MEDITERRANEAN CAFE 300 CARLSBAD VILLAGE DRIVE SUITE 106 Citv of Carlsbad Housing & Redevelopment Departmentj CITY OF CARLSBAD NOTICE OF FINAL ACTION CHANGE IN USE FROM RESTAURANT TO RESTAURANT WITH ENTERTAINMENT 300 CARLSBAD VILLAGE DRIVE, STE 106, CARLSBAD, CA Date of Notice: May 18, 2009 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad has made a final decision to APPROVE an Administrative Redevelopment Permit (RP 09-08) to change an existing restaurant use to a restaurant with entertainment on private property at 300 Carlsbad Village Drive, Ste 106, which is located on the north side of Carlsbad Village Drive between Carlsbad Boulevard and Washington Street. The assessor's parcel number is 203-174-06. The Housing and Redevelopment Director has determined that the proposed project meets all applicable requirements and is consistent with the Village Master Plan and Design Manual. Therefore, the Director intends to approve the subject permit. The applicant for the Redevelopment Permit is MTA International LLC, doing business as the Mediterranean Cafe. The permit will allow the Mediterranean Cafe to convert from a restaurant only use to a restaurant with entertainment use with certain operating condifions applied. If you wish to appeal the decision of the Housing and Redevelopment Director on this matter to the Design Review Board, you must file a written appeal with the Housing and Redevelopment Department within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this decision/notice. The written appeal must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28th. Appeal forms are available at the Housing and Redevelopment Department located at 2965 Roosevelt Street, Suite B. NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSO GIVEN that the project is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per Section 15301 of the State CEQA Guidelines the minor alteration of existing private structures and will not have an adverse significant impact on the environment.
