Re: Sign Permit
Dear Business Owner:
As you are aware, you applied for a Sign Permit through the Redevelopment
Department on June 4, 2009. After reviewing the permit, staff sent a letter on
June 10, 2009 requesting some modifications to the sign design and additional
information for the application. Our office has not received any follow-up to the
referenced letter. In order to avoid being referred to Code Enforcement for not
having a complete sign permit, please provide the information requested. We
appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Re: Sign Permit Application
Dear Business Owner:
In reviewing the sign permit application for Tashci Jewelry, staff has found that
the square footage for the proposed hanging sign does not meet the current
Village Sign Guideline of a maximum of four square feet for each hanging sign.
This leaves you, the business owner, with a few different options. The proposed
thirteen-and-a-half square feet hanging sign could be professionally Installed as a
wall sign to be attached to the fascia board (see attachment). Or the hanging
sign could be downsized to meet the Village Sign Guidelines and be no larger
than four square feet. Please contact the Housing and Redevelopment
Department for additional options regarding your signage.
In making changes to your sign's location, please be sure to obtain the property
owner's approval before submitting the revisions for your pending sign permit to
our office.
