Date of Notice: March 3, 2010 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN tiiat the Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad intends to APPROVE an Administrative Redevelopment Permit (RP 10-05) and Coastal Development Permit (CDP 10-03) for the installation of six (6) panel antennae, six (6) DAP head units and three (3) directional antennae mounted inside faux chimneys on the building located at 560 Carlsbad Village Drive. The property is located at the intersection of Carlsbad Village Drive and Roosevelt Street. The assessor parcel number is 203-292-22. The proposed project is located within the Coastal Zone, but is not within the "appealable" area of the Coastal Zone. The applicant for the administrative redevelopment/coastal development permit is Mike Morganson for Clearwire Wireless. The application for the subject permit was submitted on January 26, 2010. The proposed project includes the installation and operation of six (6) panel antennae, six (6) DAP head units and three (3)directional antennae stealth mounted inside faux chimneys on the building located at 560 Carlsbad Village Drive. None of the equipment cabinets will be visible from the ground. No grading, removal of landscaping, or use of existing parking area is proposed with this project. Those persons wishing to comment on the proposed project and intended action by the Housing and Redevelopment Director are cordially invited to submit written comments or contact the Housing and Redevelopment Department by 5:00pm on Friday, March 12.
