Description/Explanation: Request for a sidewalk cafe in association with an upgraded restaurant (bona-fide eating place). The existing site and restaurant currently has an approved Sidewalk Cafe Permit, RP 98-03 which was approved on 9/17/2001. Owner is not sure why they need to file for a "New" RP permit -as this area is still being used by patrons for sidewalk dining and it meets the criteria listed in the City handout for sidewalk cafes, Form P-2(D), and the criteria listed in the adopted Village Master Plan. Future restaurant tenant (Applicant) will be utilizing the same outdoor patio areas but will create a better looking outside dining area with the inclusion of new, custom tables, chairs, awnings, railings, etc.This will be a aesthetic enhancement to the project property and will be of visual interest and have tasteful design with new and improved furniture with new materials and colors.
