NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Design Review Boar<3 of the City of Carlsbad will
hold a public hearing at the City Council Chambers, 1200 Elm Avenue, Carlsbad,
California, at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 1985, to consider approval of a
Redevelopment Permit to develop a medical/professional office building on
property generally located at the northwest corner of Madison Street and Oak
Avenue in Sub-area 7 and more particularly described as:
Lots 31 and 32 in Block 39, City of Carlsbad, according to Map 535
recorded in the office of the County Recorder on May 2, 1888.
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are (X)rdially invited to attend
the public hearing. If you have any questions please call the Redevelopment/
Land Use Planning Office at 438-5591.
If you challenge the Redevelopment Permit in court, you may be limited to
raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing
described in this notice, or in written corresponden(^ delivered to the City of
Carlsbad at or prior to the public hearing.

PROJECT DESCRIPTICN: Request for a redevelopment permit to oonstruct
a 4,991 sq. ft. medical/professional office building.
The City of Carlsbad has conducted an environmental review of the
above described project pursuant to the Guidelines for Implementation
of the California Environmental Quality Act and the Environmental
Protection Ordinance of the City of Carlsbad. As a result of said
review, a Negative Declaration (declaration that the project will not
have a significant impact on the environment) is hereby issued for the
subject project. Justification for this action is on file in the
Land Use Planning Office.
A copy of the Negative Declaration with supportive documents is on
file in the Land Use Planning Office, City Hall, 1200 Elm Avenue,
Carlsbad, CA. 92008. Comments from the public are invited. Please
submit comments in writing to the Land Use Planning Office within ten
(10) days of date of issuance.
