The Director of Building and Planning, the City Engineer
and the Land Use Planning Manager have reviewed the application
you submitted for the abpve-referenced project. Based upon this
review, it has been determined that there are major problems
associated with your application which must be addressed before
this application can be scheduled for a Planning Commission
hearing. The problems or issues are listed below. Also, the
name of the project planner and project engineer is provided.
You should set up a meeting to discuss the issues with the
appropriate staff member. Once the problems/issues have been
addressed, your application will then be scheduled for a
hearing.

Acting City Staff person for Redevelopment
Dear Mr. Holzmiller:
We have been trying to process a minor development review application through
the City for over two months based on instructions from Redevelopment Office.
Granted our application lacked some minor documentation; however, the rules
changed several times on the request.
We now are told that we will not be on the agenda of the Redevelopment Review
Committee on the 14th of August. There is no meeting on the 1st of September.
We are told the next possible meeting for the .'!Minor Review" is September 16.
Be advised that this delay is jeopardizing our ABC permit to occupy and use
the subject premises as per application. If we should lose the ABC approval,
preventing us from using the premises for the purpose requested because of
these processing delays taking in excess of three months with Redevelopment
we would suffer irreversible damages. (We are now over $3,000 in debt service
on this property without revenues from operation to offset this burden.)
Tehrefore, we respectfully request being added to the agenda on August 14,
1985, as was discussed with us, or calling of a special meeting to review our
Minor Redevelopment Application.
Any additional information that you might feel necessary to complete and allow
the hearing of this application will be responded to immediately.
