This is in regard to the City of Carlsbad's Planning Ap-
plication item "R". Item "R" requires an 8-1/2" x 11" traffic
volume location map. After discussing this item with Nancy
Rollman, City Planner, she indicated that I should talk with Mike
Shirey, City Traffic Engineer, to find out the traffic volume.
Mike stated that on all of the City traffic volume maps
there wasn't any traffic volume count on Oak Avenue, Pine Avenue
or Washington Street because the volume was too small.
We are submitting this letter in lieu of a traffic volume
study.
