HomeMy WebLinkAboutRP 90-03; Roosevelt Project; Redevelopment Permits (RP) (2)Citv of Carlsbad Plannilid Department March 28, 1991 Victor Ansalone 604 Via Espiritu San Clemente, CA 92672 RE: ROOSEVELT PROJECT - RP 90-3 Dear Mr. Ansalone: This will confirm our telephone conversation today. It was a pleasure speaking with you. You had said at our meeting on February 26, 1991 that you planned to reduce the building square footage to the amount that the proposed parking would support; to date no revised plans have been received. The revised plans (or a statement that you want to proceed with the submitted plans) are needed in order to complete environmental review of the project. In our conversation today, you said that you are considering redesigning the building or perhaps not doing the project at all. You said you will let us know as soon as you have decided, but in the interim you would like project review to stop. You also said you were informed that you must pick up your plans from the Planning Department within 10 days or they would be burned. This is not true. We will keep your plans on file, and if you wish we will either withdraw your application or grant a time extension. If you withdraw, you will receive a refund of a portion of your application fee. The exact amount of the refund is based on the amount of staff time spent in processing your application up to the time of withdrawal. To initiate either a withdrawal or a time extension, please send a letter to the Planning Department with your request. The department must act upon your application within 6 months from 2/14/91, the date it was deemed complete. If the department has not received a request to withdraw, a request for time extension or a revised application by June 14, 1991, the only option will be to take the project forward with a recommendation of denial. Right now, In accordance with your request, review has been suspended pending further instructions from you. Please inform the Planning Department as soon as possible what your intentions are. Thank you. /Ay /'(';![!
