NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad will hold
a pubUc hearing at the Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad,
Califomia, at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3,1992, to consider approval of a request for
a Major Redevelopment Permit and Coastal Development Pennit to allow the constmction
of two dormitory buildings containing 19,075 square feet within two-stories on property
generally located on the Army and Navy Academy Campus located at the northeast comer
of Cypress Avenue and Ocean Street in Sub-Area 5 of the Village Redevelopment Zone and
more particularly described as:
That certain portion of Lot 47 together with that certain portion of Ocean
Street vacated and closed to public use, reverting to said Lot 47, according
to Map thereof No. 1782, filed in the Office of the Coimty Recorder.
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the pubhc
hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after May 27, 1992. If you
have any questions, please call Don Neu in the Planning Department at 438-1161, ext.
4446.
If you challenge the Major Redevelopment Permit/Coastal Development Permit in court,
you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the pubhc
hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence deUvered to the City of
Carlsbad at or prior to the pubUc hearing.
