Home My WebLink AboutRP 94-05Ax2; Village Farmers Market; Redevelopment Permits (RP) (3)Citv of Carlsbad Housing & Redevelopment Department CITY OF CARLSBAD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REQUEST FOR FIVE (5) YEAR TIME EXTENSION AND AMENDMENT TO HOURS OF OPERATION AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE CONTINUATION OF THE WEEKLY VILLAGE FARMER'S MARKET NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad will hold a special Public Hearing in the City of Carlsbad Senior Center, 799 Pine Avenue, Carlsbad, California, at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 21, 2004, to consider recommending approval to the Housing and Redevelopment Commission of a request to extend the term of amended Major Redevelopment Permit No. RP94-05(A)x2 to allow the continuation of the Village Farmer's Market held every Wednesday afternoon in the public parking lot located mid-block on the east side of Roosevelt Street between Carlsbad Village Drive and Grand Avenue in Land Use District No. 1 ofthe Carlsbad Village Redevelopment Area. Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the public hearing. If you have any questions or would like a copy of the staff report, please contact Craig Ruiz in the Housing and Redevelopment Department at (760) 434-2810. You may also provide your comments in writing to the Housing and Redevelopment Department at 2965 Roosevelt Street, Suite B, Carlsbad, CA 92008. As a result of the environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the Environmental Protection Ordinance ofthe City of Carlsbad, the Planning Department has determined that the project is categorically exempt from the requirement for preparation of environmental documents pursuant to Section 15301 of the State CEQA Guidelines as the continuation of an existing use. The Design Review Board will be considering recommending approval ofthe environmental determination during the public hearing. If you challenge the request to extend the term of amended Major Redevelopment Permit No. RP94-05(A)x2 in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior to the public hearing.
