HomeMy WebLinkAboutRP 97-02; Jitters Express Coffee Pub; Redevelopment Permits (RP) (7)Citv of Carlsbad Housing & Redevelopment Department NOTICE OF ACTION ADMINISTRATIVE REDEVELOPMENT PERMIT JITTERS EXPRESS 355 CARLSBAD VILLAGE DRIVE CARLSDABD, CALIFORNIA (ARP 97-02) DATE OF DECISION/NOTICE: March 11,1997 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that after considering all coinments received, the Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad has APPROVED an Administrative Redevelopment Permit (ARP97-02) for the conversion of a retail suite to a coffee house (Jitters Express) at 355 Carlsbad Village Drive. Under the proposal, the existing first floor of a two story commercial building will be converted from a retail suite to a new coffee house. The second story suite shall remain as a professional office. The business is located on the south side of Carlsbad Village Drive between Carlsbad Boulevard and Washington Street. The proposed coffee house will be approximately 1650 square feet in size. No exterior improvements are proposed to the existing building. The parking lot area for the building will be restriped to provided the appropriate parking for the business. The proposed project is located within the Coastal Zone of the Village Redevelopment Area. The subject permit shall serve as the required Coastal Development Permit as well as the required Administrative Redevelopment Permit. If you wish to appeal the decision of the Housing and Redevelopment Director on this matter to the Design Review Board, you must file a written appeal with the Housing and Redevelopment Department within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this decision/notice. Appeal forms are available at the Housing and Redevelopment Department office located at 2965 Roosevelt Street, Suite B.
