OUTDOOR SEATING EXPANSION

DATE OF DECISION/NOTICE: May 27,1998
*** A previously mailed Notice of Action incorrectly indicated that the Date of
Decision/Notice was June 8. The Correct Date of Decision/ Notice is May 27,1998
All appeals are due on or before June 5,1998.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that after considering all comments received, the
Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad has APPROVED an
Administrative Redevelopment Permit (ARP97-07) for the expansion of the patio area to
expand the outdoor seating area for Dini's Restaurant located at 3290 Carlsbad
Boulevard. Under the proposal, there will be the addition of approximately 225 square
feet of patio area to provide 24 additional seats.
The business is located on the easterly side of Carlsbad Boulevard, at the northeast comer
of Carlsbad Boulevard and Walnut Avenue. The subject permit shall serve as the
required Coastal Development Permit as well as the required Administrative
Redevelopment Permit.
If you wish to appeal the decision of the Housing & Redevelopment Director on this
matter to the Design Review Board, you must file a written appeal with the Housing &
Redevelopment Department within ten (10) calendar days of the date of the
decision/notice. Therefore, all appeals v^ll be due by June 5, 1998. Appeal forms are
available at the Housing and Redevelopment Department at 2965 Roosevelt Street, Suite
B, Carlsbad, CA 92008. If you have questions regarding this permit, please contact Craig

DATE OF NOTICE: APRIL 30,1998
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Redevelopment Director ofthe
City of Carlsbad intends to APPROVE an Administrative Redevelopment Permit
(ARP97-07) for the expansion of the outdoor seating area for Dini's Restaurant located at
3290 Carlsbad Boulevard. Under the proposal, there will be the addition of
approximately 225 square feet of patio area to provide 24 additional seats.

provide your comments in writing to the Housing and Redevelopment Department at

NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSO GIVEN that the Planning Department has determined that
the project is exempt from environmental review. Appropriate documentation for the
"exemption" will be filed by the City of Carlsbad's Planning Department.
