Subject: Approval of Sidewalk Sign Permit
Dear Mr. Weaver:
Thank you for submitting your application for a Sidewalk Sign Permit. Your application
has been approved. Attached is a copy of the approved Sidewalk Sign Permit for your
records.
The attached permit allows you to retain your sign for, 1) as long as the Housing and
Redevelopment Commission allows sidewalk signs to remain, 2) as long as the sign
continues to meet the standards outlined wdthin the Carlsbad Village Master Plan and
Design Manual, and 3) as long as the sign is consistent wdth this permit approval. It is
important to note that the Housing and Redevelopment Commission wdll complete an
annual review ofthe sidewalk sign regulations to determine their continued applicability.

Enclosed is the necessary paperwork along with our check in the amount of $30.00, you
have requested for our sign at 550 Carlsbad Village Drive. We are operating as
WEAVER'S WICKS (formerly OOH LA LA). Our sign is the same one that OOH LALA
has been using for the past eight years, (see enclosed photo). You should have already
received proof of insurance as that was faxed to your office June 5, 1997.
