RE: Sidewalk Tables and Chairs (RP 98-11)
Dear Ms. Escobedo & Ms.Trejo:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the processing of the permit for the
placement of tables and chairs on the public sidewalk adjacent to your restaurant was
never completed. While this has in no way affected your ability to use the outdoor tables
and chairs in conjunction with your restaurant, there is the potential for it to affect the on-
going use of the outdoor dining area. Therefore, the Housing & Redevelopment
Department is committed to providing as much assistance as possible to aid in the
completion of the permit process for the benefit of all parties involved.
To assist you in the final completion of the permit process, Linda Holmes, a recent
addition to our staff, has been assigned the task of working with you to complete the
application process. Within the next few weeks she will be contacting you to schedule a
site visit and discuss any additional information needed to complete the approval process
for your application.
Please accept our apology for the lengthy delay in getting your permit application for
sidewalk table and chairs processed. Thank you for your patience and cooperation in
completing this process. If you have any questions or need any additional information,
please call Linda at (760) 434-2812.
Sincerely,

the building.
