Date of Notice: October 1, 2001 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad has made a final decision to APPROVE an Administrative Redevelopment Permit (RP 98-11) for the installation of tables and chairs for a Sidewalk Cafe at Lola's Market & Deli, 3292 Roosevelt Street, which is located on the northeast corner of Roosevelt Street and Walnut Avenue. The assessor parcel number is 204-082-10. The Housing and Redevelopment Director has determined that the proposed project meets all applicable development standards for sidewalk cafes and is consistent with the Village Master Plan and Design Manual. The applicant for the redevelopment permit is Ofelia Escobedo (restaurant owner). The permit will allow for the installation of 2 tables and 8 chairs outside the existing restaurant, within the identified sidewalk area. The tables will be located along the west side of the building and will be placed as close to the building as possible. The seats shall be placed in a manner which allows for a clear pedestrian area of at least 5 feet. If you wish to appeal the decision of the Housing and Redevelopment Director on this matter to the Design Review Board, you must file a written appeal with the Housing and Redevelopment Department within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this decision/notice. The written appeal must be submitted no later than 5:00pm on October 11, 2001. Appeal forms are available at the Housing and Redevelopment Department located at 2965 Roosevelt Street, Suite B.
