Date of Notice: December 7, 1998 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad has made a final decision to APPROVE an Administrative Redevelopment Permit (RP 98-12) for a land use change for property located at 3062 and 3070 Madison Street from retail/office and residential to medical therapy office. The front portion of the existing structure located at 3070 Madison Street (approximately 1,080 square feet) was approved as an office/retail use in March of 1997. The remaining 1,444 square feet of the structure and the adjacent single family residence located at 3062 Madison Street have remained residential uses. Under the current approval, the structures at 3062 and 3070 Madison Street will be converted to a medical therapy office use for use by Carlsbad Physical Therapy. The property is located on the east side of Madison Street between Carlsbad Village Drive and Oak Avenue. The project consists of the conversion of the existing uses to medical therapy offices and the addition of required parking to serve the proposed use. If you wish to appeal the decision of the Housing and Redevelopment Director on this matter to the Design Review Board, you must file a written appeal with the Housing and Redevelopment Department within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this decision/notice. The written appeal must be submitted no later than 5:00pm on December 17, 1998. Appeal forms are available at the Housing and Redevelopment Department located at 2965 Roosevelt Street, Suite B.
