Today, being Thanksgiving, it seems very appropriate to not only express my gratitude for my good fortune, but to also speak out for those in our commimity who are not as fortimate. In that spirit, I would like to request that the Housing & Redevelopment Commission, grant the permits required for the medical practice and health center being proposed by the North Coimty Health Services at 3050 Madison Street. This health center would meet a fundamental need that some in our community experience. I recognize that the decision to grant these permits are not yours exclusively, but ask that you convey to those who do have the authority, my request and sentiments. Carlsbad is truly" the jewel of the county but that should not enable us to ignore the realities of some in our city - particularly in the Northwest Quadrant. I deeply appreciate your consideration and assistance. Happy Holidays ! Sincerity, H Martha Law-Edwards <=» ^ 720-0373 >•
