Dear Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence:
On July 7, 1999 the Housing and Redevelopment Director conditionally approved
Administrative Redevelopment Permit No. RP 98-14 for property located at 2785
Jefferson Street. The decision of the Housing and Redevelopment Director is subject
to a ten (10) day appeal period. The appeal period has elapsed and no appeals were
filed. Attached is a copy of the approved permit authorizing the requested change in
land use from a single family residence to a medical therapy office. Please review all
conditions carefully. Vioiation ofthe conditions could result in revocation ofthis permit.
Before initiating any construction on the site, you must complete the process to obtain
the appropriate building permits to construct the improvements both inside and outside
the buildings.

MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENT - A BALANCED MIND AND BODY HEALING
CENTER
We have completed the Massage Establishment licensing process to the point
of approving the issuance of a license when the entire process has been
completed.
Letters have been sent to the required city departments and the County Health
Department as directed by the ordinance governing Massage Establishments.
The license forthis massage establishment will not be issued until the required
city department letters and the letter from the County Health Department are
returned and signed.

BUILDING PLANS FOR PROPOSED TENTANT IMPROVEMENTS
BALANCED MIND AND BODY CLINIC - 2785 JEFFERSON STREET
PLAN CHECK NO. 99-0018
I have reviewed the building permit application for the above referenced project and I
can not authorize the issuance of the building permit at this time. The change in
use requires approval of an administrative redevelopment permit prior to the
issuance of the building permit. On January 15, 1999 the application was found
incomplete with a major issue being the redesign of the proposed parking area. I
have attached a copy of the last correspondence to the applicant outlining the items
of concern. I will inform you once the redevelopment permit has been approved and
