Date of Notice: July 8, 1999 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad has made a final decision to APPROVE an Administrative Redevelopment Permit (RP 98-14) for a land use change for property located at 2785 Jefferson Street. The property is located on the west side of Jefferson Street between Grand Avenue and Arbuckle Place. The project consists of the conversion of an existing single family residence to a medical therapy office (Balanced Mind and Body Healing Center). A sufficient number of parking spaces will be provided in order to meet the required parking standards for the proposed use. Ingress and egress will be from Jefferson Street and the existing curb cut will be relocated to the center of the property. If you wish to appeal the decision of the Housing and Redevelopment Director on this matter to the Design Review Board, you must file a written appeal with the Housing and Redevelopment Department within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this decision/notice. The written appeal must be submitted no later than 5:00pm on July 19, 1999. Appeal forms are available at the Housing and Redevelopment Department located at 2965 Roosevelt Street, Suite B. NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSO GIVEN that the Planning Department has determined that the project is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per Section 15303, Class 3 of the State CEQA Guidelines and will not have an adverse significant impact on the environment.
