SUBJECT: RP 99-06 - Tom Giblin's Irish Pub Sign Variance
Thank you for applying for a Land Use Permit in the City of Carlsbad Redevelopment Area.
The Housing & Redevelopment Department, has reviewed your variance, application No.
RP 99-06, as to its completeness for processing.
The application is incomplete, as submitted. Attached are two lists. The first list is
information which must be submitted to complete your application. This list of items must
be submitted directly to the Redevelopment Office and all list items must be
submitted simultaneously. No processing of your application can occur until the
application is determined to be complete. The second list represents additional items
needed before the project can be taken to the Design Review Board for action. When all
required materials are submitted to the Redevelopment Office staff will make a
determination of completeness. If the application is determined to be complete, processing
for a decision on the application will be initiated.
As you know, the Design Review Board continued your appeal request to a special meeting
on July 1, 1999 in order for the appeal to be heard with the variance request. Given the
incomplete nature of the variance application, the variance cannot be scheduled for the
meeting of July 1, 1999. Therefore, the appeal will be continued to the next regularly
scheduled Board meeting on July 26, 1999 and the variance request will also be tentatively
scheduled for this same date. However, for this to occur, you must submit the additional
items listed below. The required items must be submitted by June 25, 1999 for the project
to be heard at the July 26,1999 Design Review Board meeting.
Please contact my office at (760) 434-2813, if you have any questions or wish to set up a
meeting to discuss the application.
Sincerely,
LORI ROSENSTEIN
