Planning Department has reviewed your Satellite Antenna! application no. SA 89-
02, as to its completeness for processing.
The application is complete, as submitted. Although the initial processing of
your application may have already begun, the technical acceptance date is
acknowledged by the date of this communication. The City may, in the course of
processing the application, request that you clarify, amplify, correct, or
otherwise supplement the basic information required for the application. In

Dear Ms. Nash:
Your appl ication for a Satell ite Antenna has been approved subject to the
following conditions:
1. Satellite dish size, placement and location shall be
constructed according to details shown on Exhibits IIAII-IIDII
dated June 23, 1989.
2. Satellite dish shall not be used for any advertising purposes.
3. Should the roof location of the satellite dish create negative
visual impacts on residential development to the east, the
applicant shall relocate the satellite dish prior to building
occupancy to a ground el evat i on at the east side of the
Payless Drugstore. All necessary landscaping and screening
shall be provided as required by Section 21.53.130 of the
Municipal Code.
Please call your staff planner, Chris Alpert at 438-1161 when the satellite is
installed so final inspection can be made.

Thank you for rreeting rre on the job site Tuesday morning. I think it
helped us both get a definite feel for what we can and cannot do.
It is understood that you have approved the location of the satellite dish
on the roof of our store to be located within the screening for the HVAC
units. It is also understood that if, in fact, the satellite dish creates
a problem for the Seacliff Horreowners Association, we will, at that tine,
take whatever steps are necessary to further screen the dish from their
view.
Realizing you have made a good-faith decision to let us proceed with the
Conditional Use Permit for the satellite dish, I will personally work
with the satellite dish company to be sure that the installation maintains
the integrity of that decision.

application, it is suggested that all required information on the lists be
submitted at one time, as no processing of your application can occur until the
application is determined to be complete. When all required materials are
submitted the City has 30 days to make this determination. In addition, please
note that you have six months from the date the application was initially filed
April 19, 1989, to either resubmit the application or to submit the materials
necessary to determine your application complete shall be deemed to constitute

withdrawn, a new application must be submitted.
