SUBJECT: SATELLITE ANTENNA -SA 93-01
Dear Mr. Greer:
..
Your application for a Satellite Antenna Permit has been APPROVED based on the
findings and subject to the following conditions:
FINDINGS:
1. That the physical characteristics of the property, adjacent to La Costa golf course,
does not provide adequate rearyard area to locate an antenna and be screened
from public view;
2. That the roof mounted location provides the most suitable location for the antenna,
and which presents the least obtrusive appearance to the neighborhood;
3. That the roof mounted location is adequately screened by the architecture of the
structure;
4. That section 21.53.150 allows the Planning Director to grant variances to the
standards of the Satellite Antenna ordinance.
CONDITIONS:
1. Satellite dish type, size, placement and location shall be constructed according to
the details as shown on Exhibits "A" -"C", dated March 25, 1993 on file in the
Planning Department.
2. That the antenna shall be maintained a color similar to the roof/structure as to help
the effect of screening from adjacent properties.
3. The satellite antenna shall not be constructed on any easement without the
easement holder's permission.

4. The satellite antenna shall not be constructt;:ld in any drainage area or over any
drainage structure.
5. At the time of a change in property ownership or lease agreement, the property
owner shall inform any subsequent operator of the satellite antenna that a Satellite
Antenna Permit exists on the property and that the new operator shall abide by the
conditions of the permit.
